Meet The Band
kengon
kengon (pronounced "ken-gone") is our bandleader, guitarist, and lead vocalist.
He graduated from the prestigious Musicians Institute guitar program and has been playing guitar for much longer than he'd care to admit. He regularly performs as a solo artist at venues and events in the greater Portland area.
Although fluent in several musical genres, kengon will tell you that he "cut his teeth as a young guitarist playing country music -- it will always feel like home to me!"
Jay
Jay is our bass player and resident humorist.
He has been a member of many different bands in the greater Portland area, bringing solid chops and a discerning ear.
If asked about his musical background, you're likely to hear: "Jay happened to own a bass when we met him."
Robert
Robert is our drummer and provides background vocals.
He's a veteran of the Portland music scene, having played in many bands over many years. He has played in both cover and original music bands, recorded multiple albums and videos, and appeared on both live TV and radio.
Although he has played many different genres of music, he keeps coming back to country, saying "it's the music I grew up with."
